After the initial removal, your treatment will utilize advanced techniques and state-of-the-art dental technology to remove deep tartar without harming the tooth or causing discomfort. To achieve this, we use a device powered by ultrasonic high-speed vibration supported by a lubricating mist to work away debris gently. Next, we use a hand-held instrument such as a curette or scaler to remove smaller pieces of plaque. We clean each tooth individually for optimal cleanliness and maximum shine. Once all of your teeth have been cleaned, the enamel on each tooth will be polished to remove stains and restore strength. If needed or requested, a fluoride treatment can be performed after the cleaning is completed.

Otherwise, Alcan Family Dental requests that you faithfully continue maintaining your twice-yearly dental cleanings and bi-annual dental exams.
